Weave Chat AAC is a versatile and customizable AAC app that offers a wide range of features. Designed to cater to various devices, this app is available free of charge.

One of the key strengths of Weave Chat AAC is its extensive lexicon. With a comprehensive selection of verbs (green), pronouns (yellow), questions (purple), nouns (tan/orange), adjectives (blue), and conversational words (pink), users have access to a diverse vocabulary. The color scheme, following the Fitzgerald Key, ensures easy visual identification. Moreover, new vocabulary is regularly added, ensuring that users never run out of options.

Personalization is at the heart of Weave Chat AAC. Users can add their personal touch to the app by incorporating custom images and categories. This feature can be found in the "Settings" menu under "Manage Custom Images," enabling users to create a highly personalized experience.

Another useful feature is the ability to add custom phrases. The app allows users to save frequently used phrases and access them easily from their board. To add phrases, users simply navigate to "Settings" and select "Manage Phrases."

The app also offers options for voice selection. Users can choose from a variety of synthetic voices available on their device by going to "Settings" and selecting "Change Voice Settings." Here, they can customize vocal pitch and speech rate to suit their preferences.

For enhanced readability, Weave Chat AAC allows users to adjust image and text size. This customization feature can be found in the "Settings" menu under "Change Image & Text Size," giving users the choice between default, small, medium, and large sizes.

To further enhance user experience, Weave Chat AAC provides additional settings for image keyboard configuration. These settings enable users to activate or deactivate features such as synthetic voice for category text, staying in the category after selecting an image, and disabling speech output for individual words. These settings can be accessed through "Settings" under "Configure Image Keyboard."

Weave Chat AAC offers flexibility in board customization as well. In the "Settings" menu, users can find "Manage Board Builder," where they can select from predefined boards or create their own. The app provides options for default boards, grid position boards ranging from 1x2 to 7x15 rows/columns, and a board builder feature that allows users to create a board from scratch. All boards are fully editable, and all custom images and categories can be utilized across different boards.

Lastly, Weave Chat AAC includes a pin configuration feature for added security. Users can set a passcode to lock down specific aspects of customization as needed. This feature can be found under "Manage Pin Configuration."

Weave Chat AAC offers a comprehensive array of features designed to enhance communication for users. With its dynamic and customizable AAC boards, vast vocabulary options, easy personalization, and ample configuration settings, this app caters to the diverse needs of individuals. Please note that Weave Chat AAC currently only supports English buttons/images.
